Accessible only by ferry and free of cars, the island’s quiet beaches and preserved landscape set the tone for their wedding weekend. Lauren and Braden hosted an intimate beach ceremony. Lauren and Braden’s love story began eight years ago on a photoshoot, where a photographer and a model met and instantly knew their lives were about to change. What started as creative collaboration quickly turned into a relationship shaped by art, travel, music, and weekends spent chasing light along the shores of Lake Superior and the North Shore of Minnesota.

Their proposal took place in Duluth at a favorite beach, surrounded by family and marked by an aquamarine ring inspired by Lauren’s lifelong connection to the coast. That connection ultimately led them to Bald Head Island, North Carolina, a place woven deeply into their relationship and family history.
