HOW DOES THE WEDDING PROCESS WORK?

I require a 30% non-refundable retainer to book your wedding date. The remainder of the payment is due two months before your wedding which will include any additional fees such as a la carte items, if applicable.

For all sessions, a 50% retainer will be made upon booking through my online calendar. Full payment will be made no later than the day of the session.

Once you've inquired through my site, we will set up an initial meeting so we can chat and get to know each other a little bit (if we don’t already). We will go over some details of you big day + any questions you have for me! From there if it's a good fit I will send over a contract and an invoice for the retainer. Once the contract is signed and the payment is made you’re set! I will be here to help every step of the way. We will meet again about a month before your wedding to go over a timeline of how the day will look, finer details, and anything else you need me to know beforehand.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS? HOW DOES THAT WORK?

I’ve been traveling around the world to document love for ten years. I know how to safely travel with my gear, transport film with care, and navigate the logistics that come with new places. The travel fee covers my flight (booked through Delta for their consistency and best routing out of Minneapolis), transportation or car rental, and a minimum three-night stay. I typically arrive two days early to allow time for location scouting and to avoid any issues from flight delays — that way, I’m fully prepared and present for your day. These travel fees also reflect my time away from home and the commitment it takes to show up fully for your destination celebration.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

I will edit about 50 of my favorite images and send those over within 72 hours so you can immediately relive the day. The full gallery takes around 6-8 weeks. Super 8 delivery is based on how quickly I get the scans back from the lab.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU INCLUDE FOR A WEDDING?

DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR WEDDINGS?

The number of photos delivered varies depending on the wedding type, size, and duration. You will receive a minimum of 450 fully edited images, with great care taken to ensure no meaningful moment is overlooked. Wedding days pass in a beautiful blur, and my goal is to thoughtfully capture the quiet, in-between moments you may not even realize are happening.

Some of my packages do include a second photographer. For my smaller packages & elopements, a second photographer can be added on if you'd like. We can discuss what works best for your day! I have a small team of people I would trust with my life and they always travel with me.

Alongside digital, I document wedding days on

35mm film & medium format film. Medium format produces exceptionally high-quality scans, and each roll yields about 15 images. 35mm film is perfect for those in-between moments and details. You can expect about 2 rolls of film per hour of coverage with the option to add on more if you'd like.

Nope. Editing is where the magic happens! If you need something retouched or you feel like it doesn’t look right please let me know.

CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP ME?

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU TAKE A YEAR?

I’m happy to retouch temporary things like blemishes, scratches, or flyaways, unless you’d like them left as is. If there’s anything you’re feeling self-conscious about, please feel free to share and we can discuss options.

I take around 20 weddings per year to ensure that I can be fully present on each day and show up 100% for every couple. This limit also allows me to have quicker turnaround times.

DO YOU USE AI

do you have a studio? IS STUDIO RENTAL INCLUDED?

Absolutely not. Aside from removing exit signs and unwanted background distractions, everything is done by me. I show up, document, cull, and edit by hand. I do not use any AI software to speed up my editing process or in my communication.

Unfortunately, I do not have a studio yet. Studio rental is not included with the session but I have a list of recommendations to ensure we have the right spot for your vision! I am happy to help book, but the client will be responsible for all studio fees.
